A glorious pile of freshly picked raspberries cast in glass.
They take me back to my childhood when I used to pick my grandmothers raspberries and put them on my fingers like little hats before eating them.
If placed on a sunny windowsill they will cast a rosy shadow.

The finer details
Medium: Cast glass with a polished base that allows you to see inside the raspberries. I made this piece using the ‘burnout’ technique, so every detail of the originals is captured.
The glass is from a small family business in the Czech Republic who make a beautiful range of pinks.
Handmade by me in my studio in Whitby.
