Lake District Lichen
I have made a series of prints from specimens foraged in the Lake District. I particularly loved working with the lichen I collected there. They document the experience of discovering that landscape.
My prints explore the details that would be challenging to cast in glass. The relief mono printing process captures the texture and detail of each leaf and lichen in perfect detail.

Medium: A unique relief mono print. Made using a technique I developed at Northern Print- an ongoing collaboration with the natural world. I collect the leaves and press them in a flower press. They are then ready to be inked up with thin layers of ink. Made using an electric press.
