Gilded Pine Cone
A beautiful glass pine cone with gilded detail. Cast from an original specimen foraged from the tree growing outside the Armitt Museum in the Lake District.
Made to be turned in the palm of your hand. This piece has a polished base so that you can peek inside.
My trip to the Lake District was very inspiring and resulted in a series of new cast pieces and some relief mono prints of leaves I collected there. One of my cast glass mushrooms is now part of the collection at the Armitt Museum in Ambleside.
