Pink Mushroom

£195.00
sold out

Pair of Pink Mushrooms

A pink glass mushroom. Cast from an original specimen foraged near Whitby.

Lovely to turn in the palm of your hand. This mushroom will look quite at home on a shelf or pile of books. It will stand upright or can be displayed horizontally.

I started foraging mushrooms avidly during lockdown and more recently have been on ‘Fungus Forays’ with the Whitby Naturalists. One is currently in the collection at the Armitt Museum alongside Beatrix Potter’s beautiful watercolours of fungi.

The finer details

Medium: Cast glass. The mushroom is cast from the original specimen using the ‘burnout’ technique, so every detail of the original is captured.

Made using gold pink gaffer glass. Gold is still used to make glass pink and is the most expensive colour to work with.

Dimensions: H 7 cm x W 4cm x D 4 cm

Shipping: Postage is FREE to addresses in the UK.

Do message me if you require international shipping.
